Step Procedure & Parts & Tools
This new solenoid is the same durable one found on the swingo rider scrubbers. This conversion is only possible with models that have the center caster wheel.

Remove batteries and turn machine on it's side. Remove the solution filter insert.

Using a T20 Torx, remove the solenoid valve.

Loosen the hose clamps and remove hoses.

Disconnect the wires from the solenoid valve.

Remove the coil and plunger from the solenoid. This now just becomes a filter.

Attach the new gasket to the new plate and attach to the filter assembly. Make sure there is a tight seal all around.

Reattach the filter assembly to the frame.

Remove the zip ties that are securing the hoses.

Remove the small hose on the T fitting.

Next take the new solenoid and measure up where it needs to fit. Make sure that all of the hoses and connectors will properly reach.

The arrow on the solenoid should point in the direction of flow towards the pump.

Place the drill hole template on the frame of the machine and tape down in place. Drill through the frame using a 15/64 drill bit.

Remove the template and place solenoid under holes and use provided screws to make sure everything matches up correctly.

Remove the solenoid from the frame to connect the hoses and hose clamps.

Securely attach the solenoid to the frame with the screws using a 5mm Allen head.

Connect the hoses. The hose that goes from the solenoid to the pump should follow the arrow of flow on the solenoid. The other hose comes from the filter to the solenoid.

Connect the wires to the solenoid.

Double check that connections are tight and the flow is correct. It should go from the tank, to the filter, to the solenoid and then to the pumps.

Group hoses together with wire ties and make sure the center caster wheel and squeegee lifting assembly have plenty of room to move without hitting the hoses.

Put the solution filer insert back in place.
